Gourmet Kids offer unique cooking birthday parties for kids ages 2-15, as well as a range of cooking lessons for all ages. qube was contracted to completely overhaul www.gourmet-kids.com.au so that it had a more professional feel to encourage contact via telephone and a new online booking form.
We created a new design template that updated the brand feel whilst remaining true to its corporate style:

To drive enquiries, we split the site up into two ‘paths’ based on the business model of either wanting a birthday party or a cooking lesson. This helped potential clients to find just the information that they wanted, and so increased the number of enquiries for bookings overall:

Instead of simply listing all of the different booking options available, we installed a number of contact forms so that staff would have all of the required information up front in order to provide a quote:

To make choosing a birthday cooking party easier, we created a consistent set of age groups so that parents would be able to immediately see what was relevant to them:

Working with the business, we created ‘levels’ of packages so that there was more transparency up-front for profit per booking, and more incentive for customers to purchase ancillary services such as photographs of the day and birthday cakes:

We created a series of logical sub-pages, both to reduce the scrolling involved for some sections, and so that a relevant call to action could be provided for every section of information:

In-depth content was moved off into downloadable brochures, freeing up the website to maintain short, contained sections where brand values could be brought to the fore:
